The return from exile.

I am better. I am lucid. The future is clear. Happiness. Discipline. Responsibility. Goals. Security. Purpose.

We are champions. We live live life as it should be to show the world that it can be.

This is the standard I set for myself. I so must decide what I want to be. Some have their lives decided for themselves. I have a gift. Too long have I squandered it. I must find what I love and do it. Artists create. Writers write. Coders code. Dreamers imagine.

It is in this world that I exist. It is in this world that I choose to exist. To elaborate would sabotage the art.

Control. It is not about control. It is about the illusion of control. It is about responsibility. Accountability.

Who are you accountable to?

If everything is predestined, then it doesn't matter what we do. And if nothing we do matters, all that matters

is what we do.

I steal words from the sage, but does he believe them?

It doesn't matter really. They are noble ideals. Ideals that exist as an example. Unattainable. Ideals exist throughout history. Chose your culture. Choose your religion. Choose your beliefs. Everywhere they are present. If someone doesn't live up to those ideals we call that person flawed. No. We call them human. A fallen teacher is a hypocrit. Forgive the self righteous. Their pride obscures their perspective.

Shame. We all have it. It chains us. Understanding we all are shameful starts us at the beginning. The original morality tale.

Man cannot handle the shame s, so he blames the serpent. Woman is the scapegoat.

A battles greatest spoils is the ownership authorship of history. Remember that history's lens is distorted by its subjective nature. There will always be a need to justify one's actions. The written word becomes fact. A lie through omission

is still a lie.

Writers write.

I cannot stop.

Pick what you want to do and do it. Keep it simple. Keep it manageable. I have chosen four things. Do them every day. Consciously. Al the end of the day document what you have done. Keep a record. Do not worry at first about quality.

Most importantly, stay accountable to yourself.

Ideals are difficult to live up to. Nobly intentioned but also flawed. Remember that when I fail fall and help me up. Together we can support each other. Humility.

The toughest thing I live with is my inability to surrender. My burden.

Sometimes exile is self imposed.

Truly, poetry is a worthy muse.

Long is the time between our visits.
All too brief they seem to be.

What does the future seem to hold?
A question most would have answered.
Yet fate to me is best left unknown.
Rather I slowly march with you towards destiny.

Reality interrupts my musings.

My fingers are poised over the keyboard yet they do not strike the keys.

Sadly, most relationships end.

This hurts.

p.s. I am a fool.

Everyone deserves a hug.

Oh, how sweet. How can you not vote for John McCain after seeing this cute picture?
